Hike the unique Koroyanita National Heritage Park where a wide range of stunning trails await you. Or just enjoy the smiling faces in the village and take a short walk away to the cave where the village shelters in times of bad weather.Navilawa Village is the gateway to the Koroyanita National Heritage Park. Set at the end of a gravel road it is only a 20 minute drive from Nadi Airport – and accessible by a normal saloon car. This is a traditional Fijian village set in a tranquil setting in Sabeto foothills next to a mountain stream, with about 200 residents as well as lots of free ranging chickens and children. There is a Eco Lodge Visitors Centre with toilets and sleeping for 8 people.

Navilawa is a trekkers paradise with a wide range of treks set in a stunning landscape of towering volcanic mountains, primeval green cloud forest and yellow grasslands. Most of the trails are rough and ready but your guide Nasa will cut a path through with his cane machete.
There are treks to the chin of the Sleeping Giant; to an old path that used to reach Mt Batilamu; up to the Ba lookup spot; Goat Rock; Waterfalls – Nasa can tailor a trek for any level or interest. He normally only wears flip-flops and never seems to sweat – but best you bring good shoes and water.
And bring your swimmers as there are a few swimming holes and waterfalls to relax in – one in particular is stunning!

Sedan car should make it along the rough dirt road, unless it has been raining heavily.
