Surf the best waves of your life with Adrenalin Fiji! Their daily run by experienced guides take you to all the best surf spots in Fiji including the famous Cloudbreak, Restaurants, Tavarua Rights, Namotu Lefts, Wilkes and many more.
Cloudbreak is an awe inspiring perfect left, but it can get sectiony. It starts to work at 2 feet and can handle swells in excess of 20 feet. Wave choice is critical. There are three main sections: the point (also called “the top”), the middle, and the inside (also called “Shish Kabobs”). The inside looks like the safest bet to most newcomers, but the boat drivers will tell you otherwise. The point and the middle are actually more rippable. The inside is called “Shish Kabobs” for a reason: the reef gets really shallow and it is very sharp. Cloudbreak is a difficult wave to surf, but it can guarantee you some serious tube time.
Is a long shreddable top to bottom left hander. With many barrelling sections and very shallow reef this is one of the best waves in the area. It is right in front of Tavarua's restaurant and is one of the most perfect, machine-like waves on Earth. The ideal size for Restaurants is between 3-8 feet with a medium to high tide essential to cover up the dangerous reef that lurks below. It is typically half the size of Cloudbreak and requires a slightly larger swell to break but when it does it has to be one of the best lefts anywhere.
Wilkes pass is an open-ocean reef-pass wave northwest of Namotu Island, totally exposed to swell and all wind, rising straight out of very deep water at the southern tip of Malolo Barrier Reef. It's a fairly reasonable take-off followed by a long, warping wall with some great speed sections, ending in a shallow bowl. A good regular-foot's alternative to Namotu Left or Tavarua.
