Imagine: a dive retreat made by divers – for divers, a minute walk to the dive shop, small dive groups, individual attention – and mere minutes to one of the top dive sites in the world. You found magic!
Explore Fiji’s wild underwater beauty. The Rainbow Reef is our playground! Nutrient rich currents flowing through the Somosomo Strait make for one of the top dive site in the world; colorful fish life, healthy reefs and amazing soft corals give us the name “soft coral capital of the world”.
We are a small PADI IRRA off the beaten track on Vanua Levu in northern Fiji, minutes off Taveuni. Our location rewards you with very short boat rides to all the dive sites, just 5 to 10 minutes.
The dive shop is just behind the main building, a minutes’ walk from your bure, and has everything you need including professional staff and equipment. If you are not diving yet give this adventure a try. No boring pool work! There are no currents in our bay so do your skills and first dives right off the beach and check out our beautiful house reef. Yes, we teach in German as well.

Two boats with 40HP Yamaha engines, equipped according to the latest safety standards, take you out for a 2 tank dive in the morning. Small groups, individual attention and more than 15 years diving experience in the area will make your experience unforgettable.  The short boat rides make for convenient surface intervals back at the retreat. Can’t get enough? No problem, afternoon,-shore and night dives are available.
Check out our women dive retreats – rejuvenate body, mind and soul, mix adventure with just the right amount of relaxation and pampering.

Women Dive Retreats - Adventure and Rejuvenation

Treat yourself to a pampering adventure, with just the right mixture between adventure, diving, relaxation and pampering; rejuvenating your body, mind and soul. Walk up the mountain to watch the sun rise over the Somosomo Strait, stunning views will set your mind free.
Breakfast on the beach is followed by a 2 tank dive exploring Fiji’s wild underwater beauty. Just the girls. Enjoy a healthy diet with freshly made meals, but after lunch decisions are to be made: bed, hammock or beach? At 3pm we meet for 90 minutes of Pilates and beach walking, stretching, weights or whatever strikes our fancy.
What are Fijian women doing all day long? It is yours to find out……See a traditional Fijian village life compared to a “modern” working woman…
Well the day is not over yet, we still have to make some time for the pampering part…..Matasawa Beach SPA, enough said……..
This time is for you – you are worth it!

Snorkel with Dolphin Bay Divers Retreat

Open your eyes and walk a couple of meters to the beach. Lose yourself in the surprises of our house reef. Soft corals, fish life, lots of small thingsJ, turtles and the occasional baby black tip reef shark. There are several bays in walking distance for snorkeling, however, for the real Rainbow Reef you will have to get on the boat! No worries, our guides love this stuff and are happy to show you a great time visiting sites such as Koro Levu, Nuku, Nuku Reef and the Fish Factory.

If you want to make it a half day trip, no worries, we will pack a lunch for you.

Matasawa Beach SPA

My favourite bure in the whole retreat is right down on the beach! Let a trained massage therapists pamper you. Get all the kinks out of your body with a moisturizing Coconut Wrap, exfoliating Jungle Scrub or a Hot Oil Bamboo Massage; we use only natural products and Pure Fiji coconut oils and lotions. Try out a cleansing facial, manicure or pedicure whatever you indulge in, it will keep you coming back for more!

Stunning coral reefs, small dotted islands with white beaches, just get your camera out and take pictures! 90 minutes from Nadi and 45 minutes from Suva, it is truly worth the extra effort!
Fiji Airways provides daily flights from Nadi to Taveuni, from there it is a short 20 minute taxi and 20 minute bat ride. Northern Air and Fiji Airways also fly from Suva. Check out Savusavu or Labasa (1.5 hours from Savusavu and 2.5 from Labasa).  Personally, I love the ferry as well. The Lomaiviti Princess goes from Suva via Savusavu to Taveuni twice a week. The cabin is comfortable and when you wake up you can see the Garden Island of Fiji – Taveuni! On the boat ride over from Taveuni you already get to enjoy the amazing soft corals and may be the dolphins will be your escort!
