History
Pacific Coast was originally developed in the 1970s as a canal residential subdivision offering an alternative lifestyle to urban dwellers. With a mix of locals and expats, the Pac Coast (as it's known) now serves mainly as a destination for tourists with a focus on adventure.
Accommodation
From budget backpackers to some of Fiji’s finest hotels, the Pacific Coast has an excellent range of sleeping options no matter what your budget is. At the cheaper end you’ll find basic apartments and bure’s, but there are many fancy resorts and hotels if you want to treat yourself.

Action and adventure is why many people come to the Pacific Coast, and there’s so much here you won’t know where to start.
Dining
There are a number of great places to eat around the Pacific Coast, from cheap to high-end. Most restaurants are open for lunch and dinner and offer a mix of international and local cuisines.
Transport
Bus services run frequently between Lautoka and Suva through Pacific Harbour, or you can catch a taxi.
