Sofitel is renowned worldwide for its distinctive and vibrant dishes and this restaurant is no exception.
With a fresh and inspired approach to food, Lagoon at Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, features live cooking stations prepared from the freshest ingredients displayed with creative flair.

A mix of internationally experienced and local chefs pride themselves on sourcing and using the freshest Fijian produce and selected imported delicacies from the Pacific region for the best quality dining experience of not just any resort outlet, but indeed any restaurant in the Fijian Islands. A family friendly restaurant, Lagoon offers its own children’s buffet, tailor made for even the fussiest of eaters on holiday. Lagoon has also recently created a new range of ‘gluten free’ menu items, designed especially for the gluten intolerant guests travelling to Fiji.

Offering open aired and terraced seating, Lagoon Restaurant has been thoughtfully designed to ensure that guests are never far from a calming water view. Casual yet elegant, Lagoon is located on the ground floor of the central resort building and is open from 7am–10am daily for breakfast and 6pm–10pm for dinner. It is also a popular venue for private dinners with an outdoor, over-water bure available for themed and ambient candlelit dinners. The restaurant can cater for up to 240 guests.

Lagoon captures the spirit of Fiji and its many culinary influences to provide an exciting and eclectic range of themed dining experiences every night.
Embracing Fiji’s multicultural background, diversity is celebrated through food and presentation.
Sofitel’s Wildfire Barbecue and Grill offers a choice of fine meat and seafood cuts cooked on an open grill for an authentic, bold and flavoursome meal, while Lagoon’s Pacific Asian menu is deliciously delicate and contrasting, punctuated with subtle or spicy options that are both striking and satisfying for adventurous diners.

Other favourite menu options include Lagoon’s Fijian Lovo night, for a traditional taste of life and food in Fiji where warriors dig food out fresh from the lovo, which is then served to diners in woven baskets and combined with a traditional kava ceremony. There is also Pacific Indian theme night showcasing a tantalising range of Indo-Fijian and authentic Southern Indian cuisine for a full flavoured food affair.

Theme nights at Lagoon add a sense of occasion to each and every meal.
