Fiji’s events calendar is loaded with festivals and celebrations to delight and inspire you. Flamboyant cultural festivals are held throughout the year, many of which are Hindu festivals put on by the Fijian-Indian community. Experience the week-long carnival-type festivals in Nadi, Suva and Lautoka, or for something more cultural head to Savusavu or Levuka. The Fiji Pearls Swim is the first ever open water Ocean Swim in Fiji’s north. It is hosted at Daku Resort and sponsored by J Hunter Pearls with prizes of their unique premium quality pearls. Events: two marathon swims of 5k and 10k, and a middle distance (2k) swim on the day in between.
