Hike the unique Koroyanita National Heritage Park where a wide range of stunning trails await you. Or just enjoy the smiling faces in the village and take a short walk away to the cave where the village shelters in times of bad weather.
Navilawa Village is the gateway to the Koroyanita National Heritage Park. Set at the end of a gravel road it is only a 20 minute drive from Nadi Airport – and accessible by a normal saloon car. This is a traditional Fijian village set in a tranquil setting in Sabeto foothills next to a mountain stream, with about 200 residents as well as lots of free ranging chickens and children. There is a Eco Lodge  Visitors Centre with toilets and sleeping for 8 people.


Navilawa is a trekkers paradise with a wide range of treks set in a stunning landscape of towering volcanic mountains, primeval green cloud forest and yellow grasslands. Most of the trails are rough and ready but your guide Nasa will cut a path through with his cane machete.

There are treks to the chin of the Sleeping Giant; to an old path that used to reach Mt Batilamu; up to the Ba lookup spot; Goat Rock; Waterfalls – Nasa can tailor a trek for any level or interest. He normally only wears flip-flops and never seems to sweat – but best you bring good shoes and water.

And bring your swimmers as there are a few swimming holes and waterfalls to relax in – one in particular is stunning!


Only 20 mins from the Airport. Follow Queens Road east and turn right at Mobil Station signposted Lion Gold Mines. About 2 kms after Sabeto Zip Line keep left for about 10 mins to the end when you will step back in time and discover Navilawa Village - discover a different world!
Sedan car should make it along the rough dirt road, unless it has been raining heavily.
