Latest information on Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Fiji.

On the 11 March, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak a Pandemic.

In response to the global spread of the virus and advice from the WHO, the Fijian Government has heightened its level of preparedness in anticipation of an outbreak.


Fiji has recorded 152 cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 101 of whom have made a full recovery. Fiji now has a total of 48 active cases of COVID-19 (as of 11th May 2021) in isolation of which 7 are border quarantined cases, 35 are locally transmitted cases and 6 cases are still under investigation to determine the source of transmission.

Note: Effective from midnight 22 April, all International passenger air travel into and out of Fiji for non-medical purposes are suspended for at least the next 14 days.
