Room typesEach of our light-filled spacious Bures are scattered Oarsman’s Bay Lodge’s lush grounds, offering a private escape into Nacula Island’s picture perfect paradise. The bures blend into the beautiful natural surroundings, encompassed by, tropical plants and beautiful coconut palm trees.
Picture yourself watching the sun go down or evening stargazing from your very own private deck with outdoor lounge furniture. Once you enter your bure you’re greeted by airy large main room with a super comfortable king-size bed. Bunk or single beds can also be included upon request. Louvres allow a tropical breeze to refresh you night and day. Fall asleep on your hammock listening to the gentle ocean breeze and the sway of the coconut palm tree leaves. A bathroom with an outdoor shower, complete with complimentary soaps, sunscreens, fresh towels allow optimal comfort.

The majestic Sawailau Caves are one of the 'must-do' activities for travellers visiting the Yasawa’s spectacular Blue Lagoon. This is a short boat ride away from Oarsman’s Bay Lodge.

DiningOarsman's Bay Lodge prides itself on the traditional Lovo; a feast of succulent meats, freshly caught fish, coconut infused greens and tasty root crops baked to perfection in their earth oven. Family and food are the staples of Fijian life, all guests at Oarsman's Bay Lodge are called to the open-air restaturant by a traditional drum which is used at each meal time. Being a guest at Oarsman's Bay Lodge means you are treated to freshly baked coconut scones, pancakes, fresh fruit for breakfast, delicious hot lunches every day and the most mouth watering meals each evening. All the meals are carefully prepared by the family at Oarsman's Bay Lodge and the food is grown on site. You are completely spoilt by the freshest ingredients every meal.
ContactThe Yasawa Flyer, departs Port Denarau at 8:30am every morning to island hop between the tiny islands, en-route to, the Yasawas.
The journey up through the Yasawas is magical, the Flyer stops along the way in the most scenic channels and bays, picking-up and dropping-off travellers who are moving on to their next slice of paradise.
The northern most stop is Oarsman’s Bay Lodge situated on the famous Blue Lagoon. From there, the Flyer heads back south, stopping off at all the islands again before arriving back at Port Denarau at 5:45pm. When you return back to the mainland, the Flyer picks you up at 1pm from Oarsman’s Bay Lodge. If you would like to be on your hammock quickly you can choose to take a seaplane which takes thirty minutes.
