Bula Coffee

Crop to Cup Tour

Proudly Fiji-grown and made, Bula Coffee have been teaming up with remote villages to harvest and roast wild, organic coffee beans and directly boost the rural economy. From their first 20kg harvest in 2011, they now buy coffee beans from more than 5,000 people.

Curious about their process? Peek behind the scenes on a guided Crop to Cup tour at their headquarters on the Coral Coast, just a short drive from the Sigatoka Sand Dunes. Follow it up with fantastic brews and dessert at their café or buy some bags to take home with you because every cup makes a difference. Tours available on weekdays from 8am – 5pm.

Bulacccino Café is known for their great coffee and fresh, organic menu.  Now, if you’re in Nadi, you can spend a nourishing few hours relaxing at their beautiful family farm near the Sleeping Giant Mountain. Wander the Organic Path at your own pace or book a guide to walk and talk you through the various traditional crops and medicinal plants, fruiting trees, fish pond and bee hives.

You may even get to try making traditional cassava cakes, harvesting some of the seasonal produce or feeding the resident sheep and ducks.  It’s a fun day out for the family, especially if you end it with a packed picnic under the trees.

From the cocoa pod tasting in the tree groves to setting chocolate at the factory, Kokomana’s ‘tree to bar’ tour demonstrates the entire chocolate making process. Depending on when you visit, you’ll see the fermenting beans, drying racks in the sun or the chocolate maker crafting on the factory floor. The tour ends with a delicious tasting session and the chance to buy some novelty bars to take home with you.
