From remote mountain villages and highland coffee farms to garden island sorbets and handmade chocolate, Fiji Foodies explores the stories, people and places behind some of our most memorable food experiences.

Satisfy your curiosity and come discover why cooking here is more than just a meal for us.

Episode One: Namosi - Living Off the Land in Namosi, Fiji

Head inland and Fiji starts to feel different. The roads get greener, the rivers get wilder, and everything slows right down. Here in Namosi, cooking is still tied to the land, with recipes shared through families and ingredients picked fresh from the garden.

We spend the day at Namosi Eco Retreat learning how food, culture and daily life all connect, before jumping on the river with River Tubing Fiji and floating through rainforest scenery that barely feels real.

It’s a side of Fiji most people don’t expect, and that’s exactly why it stays with you.

Episode Two: Chasing A Great Cup on Fiji’s Coral Coast

From remote highland villages to the Bula Coffee’s coffee tour on the coast, this episode follows the journey of wild Fiji coffee from crop to cup. Along the way, you’ll meet the women behind the harvest and discover how every bean is deeply connected to community and place.

And because no Coral Coast road trip is complete without a little adventure, we take a little detour to the breathtaking Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park

Episode Three: A Sweet Escape to Taveuni

On one of Fiji’s Garden Island, waterfalls tumble through rainforest, reefs teem with colourful corals and marine life and tropical fruit grows wild.

At Yanuyanu, a little farm in in Matei, locally grown fruits is transformed into delcious sorbets using seasonal ingredients harvested straight from the land. From their humble shack shop - stocked with sorbets, health tonics, and other local produce - Yanuyanu quietly models what’s possible for Taveuni farms: that organic farming, alternative produce, and value-added ideas are sustainable, delicious and a viable island business model.

We finish the journey at Lavena Coastal Walk, walking rainforest trails and coastal paths that lead to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Fiji.

Episode Four: Crafting Chocolate in Fiji’s Hidden Paradise

Our final stop takes us north to Savusavu, where chocolate begins in a small agro-forest and adventure flows through the mangroves.

At KokoMana, cocoa is harvested, fermented and handcrafted into rich tree-to-bar chocolate surrounded by the very land it comes from.

Later, we slow things down with a peaceful paddle downriver to the Salt Lake with Mangrove Jack's Kayaks, gliding beneath lush mangroves and discovering a quieter side of Fiji.

A little unexpected and the perfect way to end the journey.
