You can make your Fijian backpacking holiday as relaxing or adventurous as you please.

Here you can dive, surf and snorkel in our beautiful seas or just chill as time passes you by on a white sandy beach. Or why not head inland on a guided hike or jet boat tour to visit a remote Fijian village?

Transportation here is easy and affordable. You can hire a car and self-drive around our bigger islands - Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, or catch a local open air bus and admire the coastal views, rolling hillsides and village life. Island hopping throughout our 333 islands is a once in a lifetime experience.

Fiji is home to dramatic volcanic landscapes, vivid blue lagoons, colourful reefs, spectacular sunsets and balmy tropical nights. With daily scheduled ferries and water taxis, escaping to the islands is simple. Another great way to explore Fiji is on an organised tour. There are several providers that offer packages tailor made for backpackers. Check out Awesome Adventures or Fiji Experience if travelling with new friends is more your thing.

Accommodation options include everything from boutique backpackers, fun hostels, to eco-inspired beachfront bures. We have a wide range of dining options too - there are lots of local cafe and restaurant options in Nadi and Suva. You can also stock up at local supermarkets or explore local markets and discover our delicious tropical fruits and an abundance of fresh seafood. So start packing – your adventure in paradise is awaiting you!
